November has come.

Three incredible and fantastic DVD have also arrived with it.

The first is called “Artic Monkeys @ The Apollo”: a cinematic feast with impressive, intuitive, confidently held master shots - a film that invites the audience to immerse themselves in the style and force of the uk’s most striking band as they deliver one of their most intense performances to date.

The second is called “A Cross The Universe”, is a CD/DVD documentary about Justice. In the CD we’ll find a choice of the best live song and in the DVD instead, a sort of the best of their live around the world.

The third is called “Kaiser Chiefs Live At Elland Road”.

The Elland Road show was the band’s biggest headline show so far, with 40,000 fans attending.

Everything starts in the far February 2007.

I found this song in a live version and the sound was too bad.

A month later… 19th March, Arctic Monkeys came in Milan.

I was there.

Love and magic started since that night.

Now I watch/listen to that song 4-5 times per day.

Lo sciopero nazionale delle Ferrovie dello Stato non mi ha permesso di assistere al concerto dei Justice di ieri sera. Nonostante ciò ho potuto ascoltare “D.A.N.C.E” e “We Are Your Friends” grazie ad una telefonata.

Ovviamente, le emozioni provate sono state moooolto infieriori rispetto a chiunque abbia vissuto dal vivo l’evento.

Ed è proprio per questo che ho voluto scrivere questo articolo: quello che vi chiedo è di raccontare la vostra storia, bella o brutta che sia. Dall’acquisto dei biglietti al ritorno a casa. Avete avuto una buona compagnia? Il viaggio è stato pesante? Avete conosciuto i Justice di persona? Tutto quello che avete da dire, ditelo senza peli sulla lingua. Qualche giorno fa il Traffic Festival ha annunciato qualcosa di esorbitante.

La prima data del Festival, appunto il 7 Luglio, non si terrà a Torino come solito dal 2004, ma a Milano, precisamente all’Arena Civica (in cui hanno suonato i Radiohead ieri sera e suoneranno stasera).

Il tutto, come ovvio, sarà gratuito e con un ospite d’eccezione, annunciato appunto una decina di giorni fa.

Dopo 7 mesi, tornano in Italia i Justice, per un unico emozionante concerto all’aperto.

Come già detto, il tutto sarà gratuito, ma c’è un ma.

Il blog della nuova Alfa Romeo Mito (di cui c’è un concorso aperto su QOOB) invita però gli utenti a registrarsi, appunto sul blog, per ritirare un biglietto per il concerto, con il quale si potrà avere un posto assicurato al concerto.

La cosa sembra valida in quanto nella pagina ufficiale del Festival troviamo “PER AVERE GARANTITO L’INGRESSO AL CONCERTO ALL’ARENA OCCORRE REGISTRARSI AL SITO ALFA MITO”.

Milan, Loreto metropolitan station.

Here’s all.

I go down from the train and I see these 3 guys… the first a little bit strange, the second too huge and the other one normal

Familiar faces… but they, at first impact, dont tell me much.

Gabbo exclaims: “What gay is that on there?!”, referring to one those 3 guy.

My focus still falls on them, which turn the corner.

I do 10 steps asking myself “They are… oh shit… they … but yes O_O OMG THEY ARE THE KLAXONS!”

I scream to my friend: “Stooop ther are the Klaxons, Prof wait, please!”

I start to run, I turn the corner, I see ‘em, I overcome ‘em, I look ‘em and I scream: “KLAXOOOOONS”.

They start to smile, I start to tremble and not understand a lot. I start to talk in english “No, OMG, it’s incredible etc…

Not having pen and paper for an autograph, very trivial and meaningless, I tell them to stop, I take the photocamera and I ask if I could make a photo with ‘em, which respond with a “Yeah!”.

Mottini (a fuckin’ asshole) spends 20 seconds to make a photo, allowed me to song WITH THEIR Golden Skans “Uhuhuhuhuhuh ah ah”.

I show ‘em my hands ‘cuz they continue to tremble… They laugh hertily

I ask what they were doing in Milan, they (after some repetition because I didn’t understand) said they were recording their second album.

Not having words at the time and being completaly drunk, I take their hands, I greet and I go.

Nothing else to add. Fantastic.
